Principal's Message

Welcome to King Elementary School and the 2023-2024 school year!  My name is Daniel Bryant, and as the Principal at KES since prior to the 2019/2020 School Year, I am honored and continually thankful for the opportunity to serve our students, their families, my staff, and the city of King.  I am also extremely proud to work alongside an absolutely incredible group of educators and support staff who truly change students' lives through their dedication and hard work each and every day.  

 

At KES, we strive to provide an engaging learning environment that encourages our children to become active, lifelong learners who are prepared to become successful citizens within their community.  As the long-standing elementary school for generations of King citizens, we are proud of the legacy of learning we uphold and seek to grow.  Using both trusted and innovative teaching techniques, our teachers have a proven history of success helping students improve academically, Meeting or Exceeding Growth benchmarks established by the state every year since (at least) 2014, and securing a firm foundation for our students' continued academic success.  Importantly, teachers' high academic expectations are coupled with a welcoming, inclusive, and family-oriented school atmosphere that encourages students' social and emotional development, enabling them to SOAR like Eagles.
